She Prays..

It was a word
A mere word
Lent to her
For few minutes
She lived a lot of her dreams in it
Built few hopes on it
Smiled from within and gleamed
A word that had a promise
A promise of forever.

Though the truth is
She can't hold him or
Tie him to his heart or
Etch him in her soul
She can just burn inside
Ache for his attention
Starve for his warmth

Though the truth is
She will have to trust
That he will strive, succeed, shine
But at the end of the day
When he is drained out
He will zone out and be restless
He will look for her
He won't rest until her fingers are entwined in his.
He won't stop until her eyes shadow his

Though the truth is
That this may be her reality
Until her last breath
This may be her last hope of happiness
Or this may be her dream come true
Or this may be an illusion
Temporary and illusive

Though the truth is
That she can't lose hope
She can't let her heart lose and her mind win
She can't let go
She can't forget that destiny is strong but
Time is stronger
She can't stop being worried
About being out of mind
If out of sight

Though the truth is
That every night when she closes her eyes
she prays for this to be her forever

Please.

An Open Letter to A Woman

Dear Ms. Precious,

You can't give up just yet. You are a living example of how one needs to have courage to make wrong decisions and more courage to take more wrong decisions. Considering this, statistics show that you are quite courageous.

What happens when you fall..when you get weak..when you worry..you solve nothing. These are experiences which make you, you. Look back and see would you want to change anything..anything at all. Why would you want to change anything when from being a meek and naive girl, you turned to being a woman who can take on the world, only because of these circumstances.

Get bold, my dear. Feel the fire within you turning into pure gold. You are sensitive to others' emotions. You are smart and intelligent. You are everything. You are not weak. Period.

Don't wait for the world to tell you their opinion of you. Even if they do its not worth a penny. Because only you know your circumstances and the reason behind each one of your decisions.

You are not a puppet. You can't be made to dance with your strings on someone else's fingers, no matter how hard they try. Trust me, they will fall. They always have. Haven't they?

You are the best at everything you do. You give your heart and soul to everyone and everything around you. You think so so much about others. But then you forget the most important person you need to think about. You! What about your health, your peace, your sleep, your happiness, your future?

Stop thinking for just few seconds. No, the world won't stop spinning. No, the sky won't come crashing down. No, they won't forget you. Nothing of this sort will happen when you stop worrying. Even if it does, trust me my angel, you are a Phoenix. You always rise and you will rise again. Stronger and much better, much much more special.

Start valuing yourself, my precious. Only then the world will. Wipe away those tears or cry your heart out. Do anything that makes you feel great. It's your life. They will judge you. They will smirk at you but it doesn't and shouldn't make any difference to you. Only one person's judgement and opinion about you matters the most. Baby, its yours.

Laugh. Laugh out loud. Scare the hell out of them when you are laughing. The whole world fears strong happy women. Because these women refuse to be taken for granted. They refuse to be snubbed and dominated. They are power. You are them. You are the greatest power of all times and the energy hidden within you can destruct or construct a whole new world. You choose, my darling.

Honey, close your eyes and look within. See how beautiful you are. Feel how your heart is made of gold. Feel how your soul is pure like drops of morning dew. Now open your eyes and look at yourself in the mirror. See the smashing beauty. See that head held high. See those pretty eyes. See that smile no one in the world can miss. See that glow on your face. Listen to the mirror smiling at you and telling you that "you my lady, are the most beautiful woman in the world".

You go girl. You shine. You shimmer. You rock. You are unique and unmatched. Trust me when I tell you, woman, you are the best.

4 Reasons Why You Should Start Fresh

What if this was Day 1 of your life? Think about forgetting all the garbage that we keep stuffing our minds with. All the ashes of the past; dust of inactive thoughts etc. All vanished. Only if we genuinely believe that today is the first day of our lives, we can know our true selves. Now the advantages of this thought are many. 

Firstly, this day comes to us as a breath of fresh air. We feel free. We feel light.

Secondly, this day has come to us where we welcome it with our experienced beings. We are intelligent, wise and full of knowledge gained over the span of our entire lives. Now you would blame me of giving a contradictory statement right here. But then even if you try hard, you can never forget your knowledge, wisdom and intelligence. No matter how badly you want to forget, you could never forget how to eat, how to trust wisely, how to be alert, how to speak, how to weigh our actions and thoughts etc. Try. Go try. I challenge you. You can not forget. But when you call this day a new day, you automatically free yourself from the chain of negative thoughts and past memories. 

Thirdly, now your mind has a lot of free space. Millions of GBs *wink* to be precise. So what are you going to do with it? You will make new memories. Generate new ideas. Constructive views. Its like cleaning your house and then lighting a scented candle or to spray a room freshener if you are a little tired of the cleaning ;). But on a serious note, cleaning your mind does not leave you tired. Rather it leaves you energized and full of life. 

Fourthly, now that you know it is a new day, you will see everything in a new light. The same people, situations and things around you, will become pleasant. You would feel grateful for what all you have. Remember you have forgotten your negative past. You have the learning but you do not have hard feelings against anyone. Now how is that for a change? Everything will suddenly feel lovely.
